DESCRIPTION:AN EXHIBIT OF COMFORT QUILTS ~\nDECEMBER 3 – 18\, 2022\nAT THE CRANSTON CENTRAL LIBRARY\, COMMUNITY ROOM\n140 SOCKANOSSET CROSS ROAD\, CRANSTON\, RI\nOPEN TO THE PUBLIC\, DURING LIBRARY HOURS\n~\nA WELCOMING RECEPTION HOSTED BY THE NBQA WILL BE HELD                                    SATURDAY\, DECEMBER 3\,2022 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM\n~\nThis exhibit promotes the efforts and contributions of the guild’s Comfort Quilt Committee.\nThere will be a variety of different types of hand/machine quilts made by the members of the Narragansett Bay Quilters’ Association of East Greenwich\, RI on display. Information on the guild and community work they provide to local agencies in need of comfort quilts for their clients and families\, will be available also.\n~\nAfter the exhibit\, these quilts will be donated to MAE Organization for the Homeless in  Cranston\, RI for distribution to their clients.\n~\nKits of fabric ornaments for the holiday season to be assembled on your own\, with instructions will be available at the exhibit donated by the NBQA Education Committee.\n~\nNBQA\, (nbqa.org) has been in existence since 1976\, sharing\, teaching\, learning\, and promoting the art of quilting to the residences of Rhode Island\, Connecticut\, Massachusetts and beyond.
