Thank You from Pat Ferguson!
Dear NBQA Quilters,
Thank you for inviting me to share my method of “Zen Mandala Quilting” with all of you. It was great to see so many familiar faces. I hope that I was able to inspire you with some new information and techniques. I thoroughly enjoyed your enthusiasm and talents as I watched the Mandalas take form. I also appreciate the program committee’s organization in setting up the workshop and taking care of all the details.
If anyone would like a tour of my studio in Ashford, CT, please feel free to call or email. I will put on the coffee and introduce you to “Gloria” my longarm machine. hope our quilting paths will continue to cross in the future! Enjoy the peace of Zen Quilting!

Congratulations to Christine Bagley for winning “Best in Show” for her “Ice Points” quilted rendition of a James Rosenquist at the work Spring Bull Gallery’s 20th Annual Fakes and Forgeries Exhibit. On display February 5 – 29, 2013.
NBQA Members Featured Live and in Print
Pat Harrison’s “Monet’s Venetian Puzzle” and “Melon Patch” were included in the exhibit “Here comes the Judge” at the 2011 Pacific West Quilt Show, August 26-28 in Tacoma, WA.
Pat’s original Scrappy Star quilt and Sandy Barron’s batik version are featured in “Fons & Porters” Fall 2011 issue of Scrap Quilts, page 38-42.

Congratulations to Pat Harrison. Her quilt, “Bright Diamond,” won a Judges’ Award at A Quilters Gathering Nov 2011.
NBQA Member Pat Bruno Wins “Best in Show”
Congratulations to Pat Bruno. Her quilt, “Winterberries” won “best in Show” at the Ninigret Quilt Show, and “Overall Craftsmanship” and the “Viewers’ Choice” at A Quilters Gathering Nov 2011. AND her miniature, “Posies,” won a Judges’ Award at the Gathering.
