Comfort Quilts
The Comfort Quilt Committee, in keeping with our guild’s mission, makes and give to those in need, quilts. We provide our members with the fabric and batting to complete the quilts, or fabric only to piece together the tops. These tops will then be kitted with batting and backing where a member can pick one up at our monthly meetings or during one of our Quilt-A-Thons. Quilts are made in various sizes – Baby quilts, 36” x 48”, Lap quilts, 40” x 50”, Bed quilts, 70” x 90”. These are only suggestions; we accept all sizes. Our Quilt-A-Thons are held two to four times during the year and are a wonderful opportunity for our members to gather with new and old friends to sew tops together. The committee supplies the fabric and precut shapes for sewing utilizing our Accuquilt system. We hope you will consider joining us, we really have fun. Please check the Events Page for upcoming dates.
