Kassie and Billie’s Workshop – Potato Chip Flip

The last workshop of the 2025/2026 year is coming up on 23 May 2026. Our own Billie and Kassie will be conducting a Potato Chip Flip workshop that day, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the United Methodist Church at 1558 South Country Trail in East Greenwich, RI. We still have just a few open seats, so reach out to Lisa Bagian to sign up. Don’t forget:

NBQA will provide irons, extension cords, and ironing boards at the workshop, but you need to bring the other things you’ll need including your sewing machine.

Potato Chip Flip

Join us for a great stash busting day of sewing. We have taken the popular potato chip quilt (bet you can’t make just one) and put our own twist on it for a little added fun. We will show how to make many different versions of the block so you can make as many as your heart desires. Head to your stash and start collecting scraps, fat quarters, jelly rolls, charm packs, jolly bars and anything else that strikes your fancy. This workshop is great for beginners and experienced quilters alike. Some simple cutting before the class is required. As in all our workshops, participation in shenanigans is mandatory.

Workshop Notes:

• Seats are limited to 20 per workshop – unfilled seats will be open to non-Guild members on the first of each workshop month.
