Join our 2025/2026 Summer Challenge: “Second Chance Stitches” and bring new life to old
clothing!
Challenge Details:
📌 Theme: Transform an old clothing item into a quilted creation.
📌 Materials: Use at least 50% of the fabric from the recycled item.
📌 Project Ideas: Create a quilt, purse, tote, pillow, or accessory (No wearable clothing entries).
📌 Size Requirements:
Minimum: 10″x10″
Maximum: 50″x65″
📌 Construction: Must have 3 layers and be quilted.
Find an old item of clothing from your closet, a thrift store, or a friend’s donation. Reimagine it into a quilted item you would use today. Submit your creation along with a photo of the original item at the September meeting.
